Home for the Holidays

We finally made it home. We had some trouble packing everything and we thought we had more space than we really did. Thankfully we were able to leave a lot at Chad and Amber's to store. We packed what we could in the car and left enough space for us to sit in the front seat. Our stuff was pretty heavy and made the back part a little saggy and low to the ground. We were nervous for the roads because Nick went home a few days earlier and said there were snowy and terrible, so we bought chains and split the trip in two so we would be alert for the bad roads. We made it home the whole way with hardly any snow. We think Nick is a little whimpy and his truck isn't much better. He says it was a hard drive thoug, but I have a hard time believing that.
So we made it home and we are loving it. We got to sleep in and make some french toast. I forgot about how mom buys eggs five dozen at a time. They take up a whole shelf in the fridge!
We are excited for the cabin and to be with so much family. I can't complain. . . I got a good one!
I don't know who has heard, but in January, David and I are going out to Portland for David's intership with an accounting firm. He is way excited and nervous for it. We hope it all works out and if he likes it then hopefully we can come back next winter.
We will just be there for the tax season and then we are going to be heading back to Rexburg to finish school. David will just have the Summer semester and then he graduates and then I will go Summer and Fall and be done there and just have my student teaching that I will do wherever David gets a job! Hopefully it all works out that smoothly, and as planned.
We are hoping that by the time we go back to Rexburg that the Snow is melted and gone, but we aren't betting too much on that. Last year it snowed in June, so we can't ask for too much!
